Qaamuuské Reegey App

Overview
Qaamuuské Reegey is a professional, user-focused mobile application developed to support the learning, preservation, and promotion of Af Maay, one of the major Somali dialects.
As a developer and project coordinator on the Waagèfaal Team, I contributed to the end-to-end development and coordination of Qaamuuské Reegey — from concept design to deployment on the Google Play Store. The app was built to serve as a dynamic digital archive that celebrates Somali linguistic heritage through an accessible, interactive interface.
Qaamuuské Reegey features an Af Maay dictionary, Maagmaag (proverbs), Gobey (poetry), and a library of books and texts, allowing users to easily search, read, and learn. Beyond being a language tool, it is a platform for preserving oral literature and cultural identity through technology.
