Dankaab Data Exchange System
Overview
A web-based data resale system developed by the Kaabeup team for Soomar, enabling dealers to manage transactions, resell mobile data, and earn profits through an integrated online platform.
As part of the Kaabeup development team, I contributed to the design and implementation of the Dankaab web system, a modern extension of Soomar’s existing mobile data reseller app. The system empowers youth and small entrepreneurs across Somalia to participate in the digital economy by allowing them to purchase and resell mobile data bundles through an intuitive web interface.
The project involved creating secure dealer dashboards, real-time data synchronization, and automated commission management. My work focused on frontend development and system optimization — ensuring seamless integration with Soomar’s backend infrastructure and delivering a smooth user experience.
Dankaab currently supports multiple active dealers and plays a key role in Soomar’s broader digital services network, helping expand financial inclusion and digital entrepreneurship across Somalia.
